I started in ministry in 1995. I began as a youth minister at Southside Baptist Church, in Granbury, Texas. From Southside, I moved to First Baptist Crowley and served there for five years. I then moved to First Baptist Bridgeport and served as the youth minister and family minister. In 2010 I left FBC Bridgeport to plant a church in Cleburne, Texas. After the church in Cleburne got up and running, I came back to FBC Bridgeport and now serve as the Senior Pastor.
I have three earned degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts and Applied Science from Dallas Baptist University. There I majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Pastoral Ministry. I have a Master of Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Educational Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. My doctorate focused on Grief Ministry.
I enjoy high school football and am the voice of the Bridgeport Bulls. I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, and I love to fish. I have been a comedian and communicator for many youth and adult events. I am a proud United States Navy veteran.
I have been married to Roberta since 1995. We have one son, Randale Heath Morgan.
